K2 Tall Mountain Expedition

Chuck called from Concordia, at the confluence of the Baltoro and Godwin-Austen glaciers, to report that the team was one-half day away from the Broad Peak base camp. The weather was great, warm and sunny, and it hardly felt like they were sitting on ice (on the glacier). In fact, sunburn is an issue. Everything is going very well and the team is excited to be so close to base camp. The team is getting along very well and having a lot of fun together. Chuck has requested that Brian bring a supplemental shipment of t-shirts for the Pakistani support team. They love the shirts with their local mountain name and the subtle Pakistani flag symbol. It’s a great way to build relationships and goodwill.
