Chuck’s Arrival in London:

“We arrived a little burnt out from the flight from JFK. The BA flight was great! Excellent service – we got free drinks, dinner and breakfast, and plenty of movies. Dave and Dan are in the holding chamber, aka the terminal’s quiet resting area with couches. This room contains couches full of strange people in different stages of rest. Dan pulled a couch out of the way and is on the floor using a pack as a pillow. Dave is curled up on a weirdly designed resting couch. Dave and Dan are asleep after having a breakfast of fish and chips. I had a café mocha with some of the double chocolate chip cookies from my carry on.

“The strange ambience of the resting room forced me out to accomplish some work. I purchased a new world power plug to charge the computer, which will also work in Pakistan, and managed to get the new solid state laptop to work on a wireless network in the airport. I'm heading off to have a couple beers before boarding the flight in two hours, probably the last we will enjoy for several months. Andy should be here by now and I'm going to look for him.”
